It is with great sadness that I write this. Nicky Barber, my wife and business partner in Voicebubble, died suddenly early this year. Nicky was a true talent on both stage and screen, she was a great professional and much loved by her many clients for her professionalism, humour and willingness to always ‘go the extra mile’ to deliver excellent work. She is greatly missed.
For the last few months my focus has been entirely on caring for our two young children, and I confess to neglecting the business. I will be contacting clients who have connected with us individually but I hope you will understand why we have been very quiet.
As I return to work I am rebuilding Voicebubble as a business that, as Nicky would have wanted, is primarily about producing first class voice work. I am recruiting a small number of talented and experienced voice artists to deliver great work for our clients. I will manage and produce content, and continue to use my complementary skills as a writer, editor and multimedia producer to ensure that our clients’ needs are met.
Nicky was a wonderful talent, she was also an adored wife and wonderful Mum. I wish to continue this business in tribute to her, maintaining the same values she had; excellence, integrity, and value.
